News

  • The Vegetable Project's Evening in the Garden has been rescheduled due to weather. It will now be Wednesday, May 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. at New Scotland Elementary School Please come for the music, the great food and the friends you'll run into or make. And, most importantly, to create hands-on and outdoor learning opportunities for students here at Myers and throughout the district. Suggested donation is $5 - we hope you can make it!

  • REMINDER: The Q3 Honor Roll Ceremony is this Friday (May 9) at 8:30 a.m.

  • This month's PTSA meeting will be next Tuesday (May 13) at at 5:30 p.m. Agendia items include: nominations/elections of next year's officers, field trips and recognizing modified student athletes.

  • 2024-25 yearbooks are now on sale! Please and email tcox@albany.k12.ny.us with any questions. Total cost is $15.39.

  • Grade 8 - you're invited! Albany High School is hosting a (May 29 at 5:30 p.m.) for all rising ninth graders. The event will introduce incoming students, and their families, to the campus and the wide variety of academic, athletic and extracurricular activities offered at AHS.
     
  • The City School District of Albany approved a $342.4-million budget for 2025-26. If approved May 20, the budget would continue to support programs and services that students need and deserve while also minimizing the impact on taxpayers. You can visit our Budget section to read more about the proposal and other related items voters will consider May 20. Additionally, two Board of Education seats are open - you can find more about that election on the district website, as well.
     
  • A recent Board of Education agenda item included information about a new school information and management system. You can and also that will help guide the district's decision.
